Camp Golden Hills is sponsored by the Excel Education Foundation, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation established to support programs which promote academic improvement and leadership development for youth by providing educational opportunities. All contributions to EEF are tax-deductible. The spiritual aspects of the programs and activities sponsored by the Excel Education Foundation and its Golden Hills Camp are entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. Opus Dei encourages ordinary lay people to practice Christian virtues in their work, their families, and their friendships.
