A Leadership Camp For Girls


Camp Golden Hills is a fun-filled summer camp for girls entering grades 5-8. Girls entering 3-4 can participate as day campers.

The specific aim of the camp is to encourage and develop the virtues necessary for becoming a positive influence on family, friends and society. Inspired by the Christian understanding of the person, the program teaches the virtues of cheerfulness, generosity and diligence, encouraging genuine femininity while helping each girl to be an authentic leader serving others.

Camp Golden Hills is a unique one week program of character building, sports, recreation and the arts. In an environment of trust and adventure, it offers a well-rounded, well-organized, fast paced curriculum and the personal attention of a dedicated staff.

Camp Application and Fees

*Please Note!  Checks should be written out to Excel Education Foundation (not Camp Golden Hills).*
For the 2012 camp the fees are as follows:


5-8th grade: Sunday, July 15- Friday July 20

    • Overnight campers:  If application, wallet sized photo and $100 deposit are received by March 30, 2012 the fee is $400. After that date is $450.
    • Arrival is on 7/15 at 4:00pm.  Departure is on 7/20 at 4:00pm , preceded by hospitality for family at 1:30pm, 2:00 pm  camp show.

 

Day Campers 3-4th grade: Monday, July 16- Friday July 20

  • Day campers only from July 16-20  $200
  • Time: 7/16-7/20 from 10-4pm   Families are invited to come at 1:30pm for hospitality and camp show.

Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.  We encourage you to apply as early as possible.  You will be notified by letter or email when the application is received.

The overnight camper fee for the 2012 camp is $400. Cost is $450 for campers after March 30, 2012. This fee covers the application fee, room and board, educational materials, camp insurance and all activity expenses.  All campers will receive a camp t-shirt. Day campers will receive lunch.

A sibling discount of $25 is available for families with more than one child attending camp.

To apply, please complete the application, and include a small picture of your child along with a $100 non-refundable deposit (checks should be made  to EXCEL EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC.) by June 15, 2012.

Once your daughter has been admitted to camp, send the remainder of the camp fee no later than June 15th to secure her place.  We offer payment plans for those who would like to pay in installments (Make a note on your application if a payment plan is needed; some partial scholarship funds may be available).
